Garcia offers to look into it, suspecting that Beth was expelled or was avoiding an unpleasant incident of some kind. Stella accepts this particular offer. There is a palpable sexual tension in the air that surprises Stella, who has never been attracted to a woman before. She cannot decide whether Garcia is putting out romantic signals.
