Legends & Lattes

Cal arrives to see the coffee machine in all its glory. Viv introduces Cal and Tandri to each other. The trio hang lighting and set up furniture. Cal excuses himself and returns with a sign that reads “Legends & Lattes.” He says Viv doesn’t have to use it, but she loves the name. After hanging the sign, she brews a latte. Both Cal and Tandri are impressed by it. Tandri wonders why the gnomes in Thune aren’t brewing coffee, but Viv hopes they don’t start. The trio sits at an outside table with their coffee, discussing the potential opening tomorrow. Tandri asks if Viv has advertised, but she realizes she never considered this part. Tandri suggests that, since no one in Thune knows what coffee is, they might need to be taught. They’ll still open tomorrow, but she doesn’t want Viv to get her hopes up.

Laney brings the trio a dark, baked loaf to contribute to their celebration. They taste it, but it’s terrible. When Cal finishes his coffee, he gets ready to leave. Viv is sad to see him go now that his work is done. She encourages him to stop by often.
